One thing I never want to do in life is lead from my flesh.

I’m grateful God gives me the discernment to recognize seasons when I need to step back — to rest and reset. There is nothing wrong with running to the Father. It’s actually what we were created to do, and it doesn’t have to take an emergency for us to go.

Think about a child and their father.

When does a child run to him?

When he gets home.
When they’re scared.
When they’re excited.
And even when they don’t run — when they’re simply tired – they still go to him.

That’s the type of relationship God wants with us.

When we seek God and let Him into our hearts, He shows us what a Father truly is.

Even if you don’t understand it yet, hear this:

You are loved.
This isn’t a love you have to earn – just receive.

You are chosen.
Before you took your first breath, God wanted you here.

You have purpose.
There is a reason He placed you on this earth, and you will discover it through Him.

Come to the Father and receive HIs love. This is only the beginning. Come just as you are – He loves you, and He is waiting.

Father God,

Open my heart to receive Your love. Reveal anything hindering me or hardening my heart. Expose the lies I have believed, and make this hardened heart flesh again.

In Jesus’ name, amen 💕

“Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.

Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you,
because I am humble and gentle at heart,
and you will find rest for your souls.

For my yoke is easy to bear,
and the burden I give you is light.”

– Matthew 11:28-30 (NLT)
